Wouldn't you just love to know when there are new links pointing to your site? Here's how to put use the resources of the world's biggest (currently) search engine to work for you.
Go to
Google News Alerts and create a new alert by adding your website URL in the "News search" field. Then select how often you want to receive alerts, enter your email and subscribe.
Everytime the Google spider crawls the web and finds a new link pointing to your site, it will send an alert to your mailbox.
Of course, you can also use news alerts for staying updated on actual news, but don't you think the first use is much more interesting? ;-)
